You want to produce your own motorcycle apparel but have no manufacturing experience. That is the gap motiv's OEM/ODM service fills.
Through designing and producing our own brand, MotoSmile, we have built a manufacturing network centred on Thailand. Our founder lived in Thailand and has direct working relationships with the factories there.
We put that network to work producing original apparel for our clients, supporting the whole path from the initial idea through sampling, production and quality control.
What sets our OEM service apart

■ 1. Small runs are welcome Our experience producing MotoSmile has given us a production setup that works from 50 pieces upwards — which suits anyone wanting to test an idea before committing.
■ 2. Direct factory relationships in Thailand keep costs down Because our founder lived in Thailand, we deal with the factories directly. With no intermediary taking a margin, we can hold quality while keeping the cost down.
■ 3. Expertise specific to motorcycle apparel Designing MotoSmile taught us what riders actually want in terms of design and function, and we bring that to your product planning. It is a different perspective from a general apparel OEM.
■ 4. Everything under one roof You can come to us at the idea stage. We take a rough notion of the product you want and carry it through specification, sampling and full production.
What we can make
Our OEM service covers products including:
• T-shirts and long-sleeve T-shirts • Hoodies and sweatshirts • Caps and beanies • Neck warmers and buffs • Tote bags and musette bags • Stickers and embroidered patches
If what you have in mind is not listed, please ask. We will suggest the most suitable production method for the material and finish you want.
How production works
【Step 1】Briefing (1–2 weeks) We discuss what you want to make, who it is for, quantities and budget. Send us any rough sketches or reference images you have.
【Step 2】Planning and specification (2–3 weeks) Based on the briefing we settle materials, size range, colourways and finishing, and produce a specification sheet.
【Step 3】Sampling (3–4 weeks) The factory produces a sample. You review the physical piece and we make any changes needed.
【Step 4】Production (4–6 weeks) Once the sample is approved, production begins. We check quality throughout and ship only pieces that meet the standard.
【Step 5】Delivery Finished goods are inspected and delivered.

What we learned building MotoSmile

motiv has manufactured apparel through its Thailand network for its own brand, MotoSmile.
• The first production run sold out • An audience built with zero advertising spend • Direct sales at events • A repeat purchase rate of around 40%
That experience — knowing what motorcycle apparel actually sells, and how to manage quality with an overseas factory — is what we bring to your project.
